"My son's proud to be a HIPPY child"

My son recently received a portfolio of his HIPPY work when he graduated HIPPY. He was really happy and amazed to see pictures of his work. He felt a sense of ownership and reflected on what he had learnt and his strengths.

We loved the portfolio and spent some time revisiting the activities we had done together. There were lots of spaces in the portfolio where he could express his own voice, so he started adding his own touches to the portfolio by drawing, colouring, cutting and pasting stuff into it.

He always feels proud to say “I am a HIPPY child”.

It was special for him to feel these HIPPY moments again. He told me about so many things that he learned from HIPPY that I was not aware of at all. The HIPPY portfolio is really a living document for him.
