Welcome to our new HIPPY Providers

HIPPY Australia is pleased to announce the new HIPPY Providers who will be delivering in our new 25 communities in 2016. Congratulations to the successful 18 local organisations in 24 communities. The Northern Peninsula Area, Queensland provider will be announced at a later date.

Our HIPPY network expands to 100 communities across Australia with over 60 HIPPY providers. Today’s announcement completes the expansion of HIPPY funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Social Services in 2012.

HIPPY will create at least five jobs in each of the 25 new communities to support parents to be their child's first teacher and the children to be school ready. HIPPY is a fun, free, and voluntary structured educational program over two years.

Latest research

HIPPY Australia is very excited to announce a new, independent research evaluation of HIPPY and we would like to invite the HIPPY Network to participate. This is a great opportunity to learn more about how HIPPY helps children become ready for school and the impact of ‘parent as teacher’ behaviour. The results of the study will be of value to every HIPPY site across Australia and the process should be rewarding for sites and families. The focus will be on families who enrol in HIPPY at Age 4 in 2016.
